Our Team
Our Team
Our core values are the threads that weave us tightly together
Our story
Empowering leaders, teams and organisations to lead with intention. Escentia is a Latin word meaning the process of becoming or being. In the context of leadership growth and development, it’s about standing in our power so that we are being confident and strong, and are ready to lead ourselves, our teams and our organisations in ambiguity.
Paula Tully’s Story
2006 – A global senior leader
As a global senior leader, I had a passion for making a difference to the business and the people within it. I loved my life and career, and I loved Pfizer and the people within it.
2013 – Big Change
A year of significant change for me as I lost my mum who, as a single mum, had been my rock in life. I got quite ill, and in tandem my role changed to UK BU lead and UK board director, and with significant external events unfolding made this an incredibly demanding in role.
2014 – Back to school
After what was the toughest year of my life personally and professionally, I decided that it was time to invest in my leadership and I saved to commence my masters in change with Paris HEC business school and Oxford SAID business school.
2019 – The hard work pays off
This growth journey as a leader accompanied me as I further progressed my career and became responsible for larger European P+Ls and more and more people. In fact, the learnings reshaped my leadership approach and ethos for the next 5 years until 2018, when the opportunity emerged and Escentia was born.
2019 – Founder of Escentia
Inspired by so many amazing leaders in my own journey, who taught me so much about leading in business, leading people and leading in life, I decided to create Escentia – its purpose being to enable individuals, teams and organisations to intentionally be the best they can be.
