The Confident Leader in Change
Last week, we were thrilled to kick off Module 1 of the 2025 Unlocking Leadership Potential programme – a transformational journey now in it’s third year, accredited by the Institute of Leadership.
A dynamic and inspiring cohort of senior leaders joined us in the beautiful setting of West Sussex for a 2-day immersive session.

The Day 1 opening classroom session provided space for deep self-reflection, personal discovery, and meaningful connection with peers and coaches. Delegates explored fundamental themes that laid the foundation for confident leadership:
- Understanding the leader they are today – and envisioning the leader they aspire to become
- Finding their unique leadership voice and discovering how it influences and impacts others
- Harnessing the power of storytelling to connect and inspire
- Developing executive presence through succinct, impactful communication
A highlight of the day was an energising and inspiring session on leadership narrative, led by guest expert Professor Geoff Mead. His work with storytelling offered delegates a powerful lens through which to frame their personal and professional journeys.

Day 2 took leadership development out of the classroom and into nature. Delegates stepped into the arena with horses to explore embodied leadership with Rosie Tomkins of N-Stinctive. Rosie’s powerful approach brings theory to life in an unforgettable way, helping leaders to embrace uncertainty, manage their energy and switch off their analytical minds in a dynamic environment.

This unique experience allowed leaders to feel, rather than just understand, how their energy, intention, and clarity affect outcomes – a core capability for leading confidently through change.

Module 1 was a powerful start to the programme, where delegates were all in! As we look ahead to the next stages of this journey, we are excited to see this group rise to the challenges of change with greater presence, authenticity, courage, clarity and confidence.
