Becoming an Enterprise Leader – Module 2 of the Unlocking Your Leadership Potential Programme
We had an incredible session last week with our talented cohort of delegates, who rejoined us for Module 2 of the Unlocking Your Leadership Potential programme – it was an energetic, immersive and practical 2.5 day session in the Surrey Hills.
“Learning about oneself in a safe environment is invaluable – and Paula and team do it with care and dedication.”
Day 1 was an empowering and engaging day focussed on being a successful Enterprise leader, which covered many important areas such as: shareholder value, earnings reports, P+L management and the what and how of exceptional operation plan delivery.
This session was led by our guest expert, Frank Overtoom, a board level commercial finance leader with a successful track record in achieving business growth, strategic goals and performance improvement. Across the day, there was also reflection on the power that delegates naturally bring as a successful leader in business, and those areas that could be enhanced.
Day 2 commenced with a practical case study exercise, where delegates worked in groups before presenting their case study marketing and selling strategies and budgets to Frank Overtoom for feedback. It was great to see all the learning insights come together!
This was followed by an engaging afternoon session dedicated to leading when we are feeling challenge and growing and developing as leaders. This session was led by our guest speaker, Sue Reynolds – a seasoned Global People Leader who brings presence and experience to her work in Leadership Development, Organisational Transformation and Executive Coaching for high level Directors across a broad spectrum of industries.
This was combined with a session by Paula Tully on leading in conflict, which set the scene for Day 3, where delegates spent the morning focussing on growing and developing as leaders, and preparing the groundwork for their 12-18 month Individual Development Plan.
Here are some more comments from our delegates about this module:
“The case study was inspiring and interactive.”
“I really enjoyed all sessions.”
“I felt challenged, energised and the pace was good.”
“A good level of detail that you can easily relate to work and personal life.”
It was a challenging and rewarding few days and we can’t wait to come together again in November for the final module, where delegates will focus on leading in ambiguity, leadership sustainability and transition, as well as owning their personal development plan for the next 18 months.
