Announcing: Escentia Leadership Programme achieves Institute Approved Recognition

We are thrilled to announce that our leadership development programme: Unlocking Your Leadership Growth Potential has achieved Institute Approved recognition by The Institute of Leadership. This is such an important achievement for Escentia because it means that our leadership programme has been independently verified as world-class, and Institute Approved for our delegates – meeting the Institute’s 5 Dimensions of Leadership quality standard: Authenticity, Vision, Achievement, Ownership and Collaboration.

The Institute of Leadership is a professional body that supports improving leadership and management practice in organisations, for an international community of over 50,000 members.

Delegates joining our programme automatically become a Student member of the Institute of Leadership, with access to the Institute’s portal resources: webinars, podcasts, blogs, research and the Community Forum. On completion of our course, delegates receive an Institute certificate and become a Member of the Institute, with enhanced access to further e-learning and other Institute resources.

About the Programme

This 8-month guided programme is designed for a small group of talented senior leaders, from different backgrounds, and is the brainchild of Paula Tully (former senior VP at Pfizer). The programme has been years in the making and is driven by Paula’s personal passion and intention to bring everything that she’d wished somebody had taught her, when on her own leadership journey. Delivered by an incredible multi-disciplinary panel of highly experienced Executive coaches and highly regarded guest speakers, the programme is also designed to take classroom learnings to the outdoors.

The First Cohort

In May, we welcomed our first cohort of 12 delegates onto Module 1 of this journey, who joined us in the Surrey Hills from a variety of organisations, and from across the world. The 2-day immersive session included both classroom and outdoor experiences, giving delegates both the time and space to experience leadership in ways they’d never experienced it before.

Next Steps in the Journey

Yesterday we welcomed back our 12 delegates for Module 2 of the programme: Leading a Business. Designed to enhance leaders’ business acumen,. This session was led by a highly experienced guest speaker and focussed on enhancing confidence in building and delivering impactful business stories, and a deep dive into Earnings Reports, the Operating Plan and P&L.
