Module 3 Real Business Application – part of our 8 month Leadership Programme & Accredited with the Institute of Leadership
We were delighted to welcome back our cohort of delegates last week, onto Module 3 of our 2023 unique, new 8-month guided programme: Unlocking Your Leadership Growth Potential, which has been accredited by the Institute of Leadership.
This inspiring and engaging one-day session included a follow on practical session in the morning, where delegate groups presented their business plan case study and received live feedback from our guest expert, Frank Overtoom – a board level commercial finance leader with a successful track record in achieving business growth, strategic goals and performance improvement.
The afternoon session was then dedicated to preparing the groundwork for the creation of the delegates’ personal development plan. Our guest speaker and coach, Sue Reynolds, led this engaging session on growing and developing as leaders, which covered decision-making, managing conflict and leveraging key stakeholders. Sue Reynolds is a global people leader, with vast experience in leadership development, business transformation and executive coaching and has worked across a broad spectrum of industries, from Construction, Energy, Logistics, Public Sector, Retail, Technology, Start-Ups and the Voluntary sector.

What’s unique about the Escentia 8 month programme?

The essence – Unlocking Your Leadership Growth Potential enables clear business leaders that are focussed, adaptable and sustainable, and uniquely focusses on creating an aligned mind and body to become an intentional, confident and sustainable leader in change.
The programme – delivered by an incredible multi-disciplinary panel of highly experienced Executive coaches and highly regarded guest speakers. It is also designed to take classroom learnings to the outdoors, so individuals can experience leadership in a different way and through practical application.
The Assessment – prior to starting this journey, and at the end, all participants complete the Escentia 6C Assessment, which is a 360 development-oriented, quantitative and qualitative assessment which enables us to measure leaders against our 6 critical ingredients for success: clarity, courage, congruence, connection, coherence and compassion. Effectively highlighting areas for further growth and development.
Accreditation – This programme has been accredited by the Institute of Leadership (IoL), which means that all delegates become a fellow of the IoL and will have access to all IoL materials and online offers after finishing the programme.

2024 Programme Structure
This annual programme has been developed by former senior VP at Pfizer, Paula Tully, whose intention and passion is to bring everything that she’d wished somebody had taught her, when on her own leadership journey. This group journey is delivered by an incredible multi-disciplinary panel of highly experienced Executive coaches and highly regarded guest speakers. The programme is also designed to take classroom learnings to the outdoors, so individuals can experience leadership in a different way, and through practical application.
The 2024 Programme will be delivered in 3 in-person modules (May, October and November) and with 2 virtual sessions in April, to kick start the journey, connect and orientate the group.
There are also four 1:1 coaching calls throughout the journey, with Executive coaches who have a wide range of expertise across leadership, business and resilience.

Module 3 – Being a Sustainable Leader that Thrives
- Understand how you lead and navigate in change and ambiguity and manage transitions
- Reflect on the power of positivity, confidence, prioritisation, connection, creativity structure and experimenting
- Create an action orientated 18 month career development plan
