Escentia – Making an Impact in our World

Escentia’s raison d’etre is to enable individuals, teams and organisations to intentionally be the best that they can be, and we’ve been privileged to have had the opportunity to work with many teams within the pharma and healthcare sector this year.

As a thank you to our clients, we plant trees and have pledged to plant 500 trees every year. Partnering with One Tree Planted (OTP), our tree donation was planted in Mexico, to support the Michoacan restoration project, where a total of 270,000 native trees were planted across 513 hectares of land.

This project involves, and works alongside the local communities to help protect and restore forests; enhancing the biodiversity and ecosystem for wildlife and people, whilst safeguarding these for future generations.

Earlier this year, Paula and Matt were fortunate to have experienced one of the world’s most biodiverse places on the planet, having spent a family holiday in the Piedras Blancas National Park in Costa Rica, which protects lowland tropical rainforest and beaches.

Through Escentia’s support of One Tree Planted, we’re delighted to do our little bit for helping to protect biodiversity, creating a healthier climate, and helping with conservation and restoration projects around the world. Planting trees can also have a powerful social impact on communities too, through income and business opportunities and employment for women, which empowers local communities to provide better healthcare, education and nutrition for their families.  This year we pledge to plant 500 more trees.
