Stay on the Bus! A lesson in clarity and courage. I started off the year reading a fantastic book: 4000 Weeks by Oliver Burkeman and formulating my thoughts and goals for the year ahead. The book related a story about a Finnish-American photographer, Arno Minkkinen, who talked about the secret to career fulfilment at a graduation speech.

A note on gaining clarity for self-compassion. The egg is the symbol of new life and regeneration. Persians first used eggs as a lucky charm - they used to give an egg to each other when Spring started. Today, eggs are still used during Easter, in connection with Spring when flowers bloom again.

The main view from my hotel is the Pfizer HQ and I start to think about how many times I proudly walked along 42nd Street to enter its doors, working with the best of the best in mind and in heart.
